Born in Saigon, Vietnam, Jenny Luu is a Chinese American who came to the United States as an immigrant. Jenny Luu comes from a family of successful entrepreneurs.

Her father is a contractor and her only sibling, Cindy is an illustrator, graphic designer and creator of the seriously cute Cluucards (www.cluudesign.com). In her downtime, Jenny Luu enjoys running and swimming, home design, and culinary delights. She resides in historic Mount Pleasant in Northwest, Washington, D.C. with her husband Jason Hamacher, who is a massage therapist, professional photographer and rock musician.
